A Fresh New Look for Hard Candies

Situation

Founders, Torie & Howard, were preparing to launch of a new line of organic hard candy in late 2011 in a seemingly endless assortment of candy and organic food products.

Problem

While it was important to communicate the all-natural and organic aspects, we also wanted to impart a fun and quirky feeling that embodies the company’s founders.

Solution

The revolutionary concept behind Torie & Howard’s organic line of hard candy required a rich brand and we achieved a unique look by combining natural textures and patterns, and custom watercolor fruit illustrations with more whimsical elements like hand-drawn insects and candy flowers.

The brand has a handcrafted feel as well as a definite “delicious” factor. We carried these exciting elements through the entire Torie & Howard brand, from the packaging to the ecommerce website, to the trade show booth and sales materials.
