Franchise Network Expansion

Situation

A franchisor, operating and franchising a chain of several hundred specialty retail stores wanted to aggressively expand their franchise store universe.

Problem

The company had made an early entry into a new market niche and weas able to grow their franchise, in the previous ten years, facing little or no competition.  That opportunity was no longer available, as other franchisors and independent operators had aggressively moved into the market in recent years.

Solution

We created a new, fully-integrated franchise development program with a portfolio of multi-media marketing, advertising, trade show and collateral materials.  As a result, 100 new franchise locations were developed within two years (a growth rate in the top 2% of all franchise organizations).

Benefits

Annual system-wide revenue gains in excess of $15 million were achieved.
