Production Startup Support


Support start-up of three new production lines for the flavor addition to a snack food product. Complete capability testing to insure product meets initial quality standards.


The start-up team was located at the plant site during the final phase of construction to monitor equipment performance. The installation crew conducted Electrical and mechanical system tests and the start-up team did "wet testing". Capability testing was run in sections to help isolate any performance issues. Acceptable variance levels were set-up for all key product attributes.


By running the capability testing in parallel with the installation crew all variances beyond the target levels were isolated and repaired rapidly. Essentially zero product was manufactured outside of acceptable limits during the start-up.
