Operational Analysis


System of nine healthcare facilities (hospitals and skilled nursing) needed to reduce their overall operating expense.


They had explored all avenues and could only make small reductions. The operating annual budget was continually increasing yet they needed to reduce by at least 10%.


Consolidate all of production at one central production facility. This allowed a labor and supply reduction at each site. The overall savings achieved was over 11%. The return on investment is projected to exceed 30%.


The system was able to reduce their on going operational expense and does have to re-capitalize all nine kitchens as they wear down.
